Sauteed Kale w/Butter & Balsamic Vinegar (vegan option)

Standard

I purchased a beautiful bag of pre-chopped kale when we went grocery shopping the other day, and decided to get it used up today. It’s nice because the stems are already off, and the leaves and cut nice and small. Easy to sautee and eat, and is such an easy way to get in copious amounts of vitamins at one sitting. The balsamic vinegar is such an easy way to kick the flavor up a notch, and to make something blah in to something wahoo! With that being said I now say, go eat some greens!  😉

Sauteed Kale w/Butter & Balsamic Vinegar

1 bag pre-cut kale leaves, stems removed

2 pats butter (or vegans can use buttery Earth Balance spread)

1 – 2 splashes balsamic vinegar

Combine all ingredients in wok or deep sautee pan and sautee over medium heat, until all leaves are softened down. You can eat as is, or add some raw strawberries or raspberries in (after kale is done sauteeing) to add a slightly sweet element to this dish too. Enjoy!
