I wanted to make an almond milk that would be super quick & easy, and decided to follow the same steps that I use to make my Quick Cashew Milk recipe. The results were fabulous, and I’m hoping that you’ll enjoy it too!
Quick & Easy Almond Milk (From Almond Butter)
What you’ll need:
* 5 tblsp home made Almond Butter
* 4 cups filtered Water
* 3/4 tsp Vanilla (optional)
* 1 dropper full Liquid Stevia (optional)
What you’ll do:
Fill Vita-Mix or blender container with cold, filtered water. Add in almond butter, vanilla (if using), and liquid stevia (if using). Blend on high speed until well incorporated and enjoy!
~ My personal note: I made this first without the vanilla & liquid stevia, and it was very good. It reminded me a lot of S*lk’s Original Unsweetened almond milk. After I added the vanilla, it reminded me of S*lk’s Unsweetened Vanilla almond milk. After I added the liquid stevia, it reminded me of S*lk’s Sweetened Vanilla almond milk.
I noticed that there was a tiny amount of almond residue down at the bottom of the container (due to using home made almond butter instead of store bought), but it really didn’t bother me. You could always run your almond milk through a sieve to strain that out, if you really wanted to. All in all I’m very happy with the way that this recipe turned out, and it’s now my go to Almond Milk.
