After many hours of research to find out what things are beneficial for cleaning out the system and detoxing the gut, I came up with this recipe. I will provide links for you to all of the ingredients used.
Please note: This recipe is not for use in those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. There have also been reports from others, and I have personally experienced this as well a few times, of some people feeling a warming sensation when drinking this, as well as their heart beating a bit faster. This is due to the diatomaceous earth’s detoxing effect on the body. If you are concerned about this, you can feel free to not include the DE in this recipe.
Gut Detox Drink
Mix all ingredients together well in a glass jar and drink.
I really wanted to create a recipe using chocolate that didn’t contain sugar. I asked Sugar Free Mom for her help, and she directed me to her recipe for Sugar-Free Dark Chocolate Candy Bars. With that as a base, I was able to add in my raw cashews, and make a nice sugar free bark recipe that can be enjoyed all year long! Many thanks to Brenda for her help with this project of mine. I also want to apologize for not being able to truly capture the beauty of this recipe. I was having a very hard time getting my camera to do what I wanted it to do.

Stevia Sweetened Chocolate Ingredients:
* 1 – 4oz bar 100% Ghiradelli Unsweetened Chocolate (this can be found in the baking aisle)
* 3 tblsp Coconut Oil
* 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
* 1/4 tsp Salt
* 2 tblsp Milk of choice
* 1 tsp Liquid Vanilla Stevia
* 1 1/2 tbsp Powdered Stevia
* Raw Cashews
Melt all chocolate ingredients in sauce pan over low heat on stove until completely smooth. Remove from heat and stir in raw cashews. Pour onto metal pizza tin and smooth into thin layer. Place in freezer (or deep freezer if you have one) until completely hardened. Use a metal spatula to carefully remove from the pizza tin. Break into the size of pieces that you’d like and enjoy! Be sure to place unused bark in a freezer safe container, and back into the freezer.

I’m always looking to jazz things up in the food department. I get bored easily with the same ‘ole thing, so I’m constantly trying to find new flavors that satisfy the palate. Combining fruit with nuts and yogurt was exactly what I was looking for in a snack!

When I was a child, my mom used to make this incredibly decadent dessert that was a coconut pudding (molded into a beautiful rosette mold), with a sweet raspberry sauce that she drizzled over the top of it. I have since craved this dessert many times, but have not been able to get her to make it for me again, as it’s quite a labor intensive dish to make.
So the other day when I was craving something raspberry coconut in nature, I decided to give a yogurt base a try, not even really thinking of that long ago enjoyed dessert. Much to my surprise, when I dug in & took my first bite of this, I was shocked to be instantaneously taken back to the flavor & delight of that very same dessert from my youth. It was joy at first bite for me!
It’s for that reason that I know I will be making this dessert for myself over and over again, minus any intensive labor!

Since I have completely done away with sugar from my own diet, I needed to come up with a way that I could still enjoy some lemonade. This recipe is super easy, and also versatile, utilizing the ingredients that you probably already have on hand. This was delicious and much healthier than traditional lemonade.
* Lemons or Lemon Extract
* Liquid Stevia
* Filtered Water
Place as much clean filtered water as you wish into a mason jar, or your favorite glass. Mix in your fresh squeezed lemon juice or lemon extract (go by your own taste preferences as to how much you want), then mix in the liquid stevia (again, go by your own taste preferences). Stir all ingredients together and enjoy!
I was craving cinnamon today, so I decided to add some, along with just a hint of sweetener (I used liquid Stevia) to make my homemade Cashew Milk something extra special. It was so SO good! And I must apologize in advance for the beverage not being to the top of the mug this time around. Someone (Um, I wonder who that could be?!?!) got a lil thirsty and impatient before shooting photos (I just couldn’t help myself!), so I was sure to include an over drink shot too. 😉
Cinnamon Cashew Milk
* 1 cup Quick Cashew Milk
* 2 dashes Cinnamon
* 4 drops Liquid Stevia
Pour cashew milk into your favorite mug. Add cinnamon and liquid stevia and stir until well combined. Sip to your heart’s content!
